Book fear

Last  Tuesday the book fair started. There were lots of cool books I wanted. I only had five dollars. So me and Connor decided we will buy my little brother a book. The book was called Pictures. It came with stickers and you had to find stuff. But I still have not finished it.I think my little brother will like it.

Self Portraits

At school we did self portraits. First we used art chalk to do our faces,but not our hair. The chalk was yellow. If we made a mistake we could rub it out. Then we used our pencil to go over with the art chalk. Next we used a sharpy. It is sort of like a marker.We did not do our hair.Finally we got to the fun part we used chalk pastels.We did our skin,nose,moth,eyes and hair. When Ms Easton put the pictures up they looked amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ice.

This term room 1 is studying ice. The first day Mrs Easton brought a block of ice in a container. We did some experimenting. The next day we put food coloring on it but most of it spilt on the plate. Then we put water and salt on it. The water made a crater in it but the salt made it rough. Last time we did ice we had trays of different shapes and sizes.

At  school we are doing self portraits. They are fun.  

Back to School

Yay,back to school I can do my maths at School . Also I can do my writing but there is one small thing. Handwriting is not my best.We have been learning about recounts. A recount is a story that has all ready happened. We were allowed to cho0se what we wanted to be writing about. It was hard but still a lot of fun.I hope we can do it again. Also we have a new fitness course.I have three other people in my group Travis Courtney and Maia.   

In room one we have been learning about problems for math. All of us were put in groups. In my group we have got Hayley, Zao,Blaze and me Stacey.Mrs Easton gives each group problems to solve and we have to write how we solved it in our book. Most of the problems are quite easy but some are tricky. To help us we are allowed to get some little blocks to help solve them out. I think that it is good that we are allowed to use the little blocks. Sometimes Mrs Easton tells us the answer and we have to make the problem CRAZY!!It is fun but very challenging.

Term 2

WOW! Term 1 has gone fast. But I like School. Maths is the best. In maths we have been Learning about solving problems that have been said. But, if I had 1 more week of holiday, that would be awesome. First week back term 2. We have been Learning about Recounts. A recount is something what has happened to you in the past.
