Kids for Kids Night

Last night I had a really fun night  because I was singing in a concert with Suzanne Prentice.I went with Anna's mum,dad and two nanas, and with Jacob. When we arrived we went over to Mr Pottinger,  he told us where to go. Soon we were in a giant room!!At this time I was beaming with excitement!!!The first song we sang was love is in the air.I was in the second row. 

Kids for Kids Night

Last night was just so much fun because schools from Marlborough had Kids for Kids night. Before the show started we all had to go into a very big room. To get to the big room you had to go up hard stairs. When we got up half way up the stairs we were up very high. Soon we went down to the stage. I had so many butterflies when I was just about to sit down in my row. I was sitting in the very front row with Lydia beside me. The first song we sang was love is in the air. Suzanne looked really pretty with her sparkly clothes on. Also her voice sounded nice. Half way through it was half time. We all went back to the big room. It was so cold outside when we were going up the hard stairs.        

MATHS

On  Thursday for maths the class ate chips so we could see how many chips are in a packet. The whole  class got a packcet of chips. One chip, one tally mark and that was all that we did  for maths!

Book Charicter Dress-up Day

I just turned around and asked "Ollie, is that you?"" Yep it sure is" he said. If you want to know

who he was, he was Spongebob!  

ALLYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! I suddenly yelled, - so good to see you!!!! If you want to know why, it was because she's my best friend Courtney just dressed up as Ally the dolphin fairy. When it was time for assembly in our classes we walked around and showed off our outfits.   

  

Book character day at school

On Friday, at school everyone had to dress up as a book character.We had to dress up because it was book week.I went as Robin Hood because he would be easy.When I came in class there were different shapes and sizes,dirty,cool,amazing,funny and even weird.Next we did the roll,we had to talk a little bit about ourselves when our name was called.

Tomorow is Book character day I am soooo excited . I am dressing up as Mr Twit from Roald dahI. He is a famous writer. I am going to have so much fun.

book fair

At Waikawa bay School we have been having a book fair.It started on Tuesday and went all the way to Thursday. There were lots of people. Mrs Easton was running it most of the days. She had to put bookmarks in the books. When people bought the book other peole knew that that person bought that book. On the Wednesday there was LOTS of people. Mum was so glad that she didn't do it cos there were too many people. I was lucky because Mum let me buy 2 books. The class rooms were allowed to have a look at the books. They looked sooooo new. There were lots of rainbow magic books. I got Ally the dolphin fairy. My brother got geronomo stilton books. and Shannon my friend got dog days. It was sad when the book fair was over.
